Finally

All right~ Quit your whining :)
New pictures are up- we just hung around home and went to the park for a bit, but they ARE pretty cute. So I took more pictures ~

Memorial Day weekend

Let us all take a day to remember, those who have gone before. Friends, loved ones- let us remember.
Oh Yeah, and there are a bunch of Sales and BBQ's.

I never got the connection between those.

Most people I know of are just stoked that they get a long weekend. Most moms I know, don't see what all the fuss is about. WE'RE still working. Either we do it at home, or at a camp site, or (the LUCKY ONES!!!) the beach.

Ahhh the beach, so calm, so open... the sounds of the waves....

"MOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!"
 "Quit hitting your brother!"
"Don't let her eat THAT!!"

Blew that daydream right out of the water!~

Like I said. What's so great about a long weekend?!

Weekend update

This weekend seemed to go on forever. Playing, parades, resturants, baths, breakfasts... you name it. IT was a FULL weekend, and I didn't get an nap. Oh well, I had a camera.  That should help me remember a little of what I dozed through!

Mothers Day Update

Happy Mothers Day :)

Things have been crazy (normal) around here, and blogging seems to be taking a back seat.  I do manage to post something up on the Other Site
every once in a bit, but am always coming back here... the pictures are better here!

Well, here's a brief update.

So far this month we have sent the Twinnies on their first EVER overnighter... well, first if you exclude staying with Grandma or Lolo. I got a few phone calls, but I survuved. I mean THEY did fine. So now the girls... all of them that can talk, are obsessed with the telephone. You know, so they can set up another one!

Kenny just hooked back up with her WASL WAVA buddie too. They thing that sucks (from the kids point of view) is that they don't get to hang out with their "friends." THe good thing (in my point of view) is that the crappy little twits that were attaching themselves to my kids are no longer a problem. Ken met her friend at a test site. So I got to meet her, not just hear the stories from the principal ABOUT her. Works for me!!

But now all 3 girlies are phone crazy. This phone thing is going to be an AWESOME incentive tool!! "Mom, can I use the phone??" Sure, just scrub the tub, feel the 'gaters and mow the pasture. (Insert evil mom laugh here!!)

The littlist (yet loudest... THANK YOU schwarts genes!!) is getting bigger every day. SHe has mastered sitting, the Army crawl, and all sorts of scavanger skills. This chick-a-dee can find ANYTHING she's not supposed to have. And is completely bored by the stuff she can. In other words, she's turning out just like her big sisters!!

The Boys have all been pretty mellow. Well, as mellow as boys can be. Not too much going on with them. At the moment. Stay turned for further developments :)

The Creek is still a favorite hangout, and the bikes (in various stages of disrepair) are always a topic of conversation. Speech classes, diaper changes, library trips, what to make for dinner, and where to find the cheapest gas remain high on the priority list.

The kids still have all of their parts, in all the proper places. No stitches or broken bones (knock wood!) I still have most of my hair, the shade and amount of grey changes daily. The count down to the end of the ear is on. The weather has been beautiful. I still have my magic touch with the flora and fauna of our homestead... the touch of death. The bunnies... 2 large and 2 small... still hoppin'. The kitties, too little to be on their own. Yet. I am sure they will be back. The Quail eggs? Not so much.

Any who, thanks for reading. Keep in touch, and stay tuned for further adventures of the Monkee Brigade.
